Job summary

Middlesbrough College seeks a Curriculum Team Leader for Multi Skills in Construction Trades. You will lead delivery and development of a high-quality curriculum, working with staff and senior leaders to drive student success and ensure industry-relevant provision.

You will manage and develop curriculum staff, promote excellent teaching and learning, and use data to drive improvements. The role offers a strong progression path within a supportive college environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Construction qualification or above.
• QTS or willingness to commence teaching qualification on appointment.
• Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Assessor/IV qualification or willingness to work towards this (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and operational management of the Multi Skills curriculum area.
• Lead and develop curriculum staff through line management and professional development.
• Drive teaching, learning and assessment to high standards and student progress.
• Monitor curriculum performance and quality assurance to meet targets.
• Teach and assess learners within the Construction curriculum.
