AMCS Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver maintenance and support for on-board hardware across Huddersfield, Manchester and Yorkshire. You will install, test and fault-find hardware and software on client vehicles, ensuring high first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction.

A hands-on, proactive engineer with diagnostic skills and a good customer-service approach is essential. The role requires 1–2 years in field service or engineering, with computer literacy and a willingness

• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission and test AMCS hardware and software on refuse collection vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, repair and test equipment in the field.
• Provide timely responses to customers and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all work.
• Monitor field equipment performance and report anomalies to customers and AMCS.
• Proactively liaise with customers to detect issues early.
• Share knowledge within the Installation/Field Service team for consistent quality.
• Record service and repair visits in the ERP system to meet customer expectations.
• Report customer experiences and identify opportunities with sales teams.
