Job summary

Galldris Group is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to lead E&S performance for the Sizewell C project, bringing a civil engineering or construction background and strong auditing/EMS deployment experience. You will support the development and rollout of the broader business environmental strategy and ensure compliance across sites.

The role requires a full UK driving licence due to travel between sites and active collaboration with clients, authorities and supply chains to

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Environmental Legislation and guidelines.
• Formal auditing experience/training.
• Experience embedding environmental and sustainability considerations across projects.
• Experience maintaining records and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review project specific environmental documentation.
• Apply and maintain permits/licences for sites as required.
• Ensure projects understand client sustainability requirements.
• Audit and report environmental performance to clients and regulators.
• Support material management plans for reuse/disposal of materials.
• Provide technical advice on environmental challenges.
• Review project performance and identify improvements.
• Collate and analyze E&S data for reporting.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and bodies.
• Investigate environmental incidents when required.
• Assist EMS/EnMs deployment across business sites.
• Collaborate with site teams and buyers on sustainable procurement.
