Job summary

EDF Sizewell C Environmental Manager will lead development and oversight of the project EMS, ensuring alignment with ISO 14001 and client requirements across all work streams. You will coordinate with regulators and stakeholders, oversee subcontractor environmental performance, and drive continuous improvement through robust monitoring, reporting, and incident response.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience delivering environmental management on large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to influence behaviours across project teams and supply chain.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and monitoring of the EMS in line with ISO 14001 and client requirements.
• Ensure all environmental obligations are identified, understood, and met by the project team and subcontractors.
• Oversee environmental risk identification, assessment, and implementation of control measures across all project phases.
• Establish relationships with regulators and stakeholders; represent the project in audits and client meetings.
• Support bid submissions, technical queries, and engagement activities related to environmental management.
• Coordinate technical engineers and draftspersons in the UK.
