Beeby Anderson Recruitment, on behalf of a London-based multi-disciplinary Building Services Engineering Consultancy, seeks a Sustainability Consultant (SAP Assessor) to join their team in Camden. The role focuses on SAP/EPC assessments, planning energy strategies, and expanding capabilities in IES modelling, SBEM daylighting, and BREEAM assessments.

The ideal candidate will have OCDEA accreditation and a track record in SAP/EPC assessments, with an eagerness to develop in other sustainability

Qualifications

• OCDEA accreditation (EPC for residential new build units) is required.
• Experience with SAP/EPC assessments and planning energy strategies is essential.
• Familiarity with IES, SBEM (daylight/sunlight/thermal bridging calculations), and report writing for planning submissions.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP/EPC assessments for planning submissions.
• Develop and implement Planning Energy Strategies.
• Conduct IES modelling and SBEM calculations including daylight and thermal bridging.
• Prepare comprehensive planning submissions and reports.

Job description

Our client is a multi-disciplinary practice of Building services Engineering Consultants. Established for over 30 years, they now employ more than 60 staff at their offices in London. Sustainability is at the heart of their projects, and because of growth, the in-house sustainability team urgently requires a Sustainability consultant.

The successful candidate will have OCDEA accreditation (EPC for residential new build units) and will have completed numerous SAP/EPC assessments and produced Planning Energy Strategies.

You should also have some experience and be looking to develop in other areas of sustainability engineering including IES thermal modelling, SBEM/daylight/sunlight/thermal bridging calculations, BREEAM assessments, and report writing for planning submissions.
