Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics is seeking a Sustainability & Carbon Engineer to support carbon management and sustainability activities on the Lower Thames Crossing programme in the UK. You will collect and analyse data, contribute to whole-life carbon assessments, and work with project teams to improve environmental performance across the programme, reporting to the Carbon Manager.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in sustainability, environmental management, civil engineering or construction

Qualifications

Degree in engineering, environmental science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or carbon management roles.
Experience with data, reporting, analysis, or performance management systems.
Understanding of sustainability and carbon management in infrastructure projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to analyse information and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of carbon and sustainability objectives.
Collaborate with project teams to collect, analyze, and report performance.
Identify opportunities to improve sustainability and carbon performance.
Support governance, reporting, and assurance activities.
Provide technical guidance on carbon, sustainability, and environmental matters.
Promote best-practice approaches to sustainability and continuous improvement.
