Job summary

Sizewell C Limited seeks a Section Engineer for Pre Construction Enabling Works at the Suffolk site. You will operate within the Civil Works Alliance to support the SZC project, focusing on earthworks planning, design, procurement and early site activities.

This role requires clear communication of safe systems, collaboration across stakeholder groups, and a willingness to travel away from home. A HNC/HND/Degree and CSCS card are essential, with full UK driving licence expected.

Qualifications

Section Engineer - Pre Construction Enabling Works - Sizewell - Suffolk Site based

Section Engineer - Pre Construction Enabling Works - Sizewell - Suffolk Site based Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section.

What will you do?

The scope of the Enabling Works and Earthwork is the design, planning, procurement and execution of some of the early SZC civils scope including – Earthworks trials phase monitoring for soil behaviour and on- site testing, assessing a variety of earthworks backfilling operations, placing and compaction methods.

Maintaining site records and daily diary.

What are we looking for?

Essential

• Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately

Qualifications & Experience
