Mai Sushi Manchester, part of Hana Group, is seeking a part-time Sushi Chef to join our team at Marks & Spencer Food Hall, Manchester. Prepare fresh sushi, ensure food safety, and maintain high standards in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sushi preparation and handling raw fish.
• Strong understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a team.
• Reliable transportation for early shifts and consistent attendance.

Responsabilités

• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand for each shift.
• Accurately label products to ensure lawful compliance with food safety and allergen rules.
• Multitask in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards.
• Clean and organise the workspace and storerooms as required.
• Be an early riser with shifts starting at 6am on some days.

We are looking for Part time Sushi Chef with minimum 35 hours or more per week in our Mai Sushi - MANCHESTER, Marks & Spencer Food Hall, 7 Market St, Manchester, M1 1WT.

Job Description

• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift


• Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.


• Be a skilled Multitasker in a fast-paced environment


• Able to clean the workspace and storerooms as required


• Be organised


• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves.


• An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days


• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered
