Supporting Futures Consulting Ltd is seeking a Specialist Domestic Abuse Practitioner for a charity role in Liverpool. You will provide survivor-led domestic abuse support, assess risk, and help create personalised safety plans while advocating for survivors within services and systems.

Qualifications

  • Has experience of working with survivors of domestic abuse and understands coercive control, risk, safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
  • You will be a great listener, confident advocate and able to stay calm when things get complicated, building relationships based on trust and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist, survivor-led domestic abuse support.
  • Assess risk and develop practical, personalised safety plans.
  • Advocate for survivors and help them navigate services and systems.
  • Support women to build confidence, choice and control.
  • Work with friends, family, colleagues and neighbours where appropriate to increase safety and disrupt abuse.
  • Work alongside partner agencies to manage risk and improve outcomes.
  • Keep accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and multi-agency work.
