Job summary

Women’s Aid Federation of England is seeking a full-time Survivor Services Practitioner to support women experiencing domestic abuse across projects including the Survivors’ Forum and No Woman Turned Away. The role involves direct work with survivors, safeguarding, and liaising with multi-agency partners while fostering digital proficiency for online services.

The successful candidate will have frontline practice experience in domestic violence and relevant IDVA/ISVA qualifications, with

Qualifications

Level 3 IDVA/ISVA qualification or similar is desirable.
Good knowledge of domestic violence and its impact on women and children.
Familiarity with Routes to Support database is desirable.
NRPF awareness desirable.
Knowledge of safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

Respond to service need and work flexibly across multiple projects.
Support a caseload of women requiring support including access to refuge or safe accommodation.
Liaise with local statutory and voluntary agencies to overcome barriers to refuge provision.
Respond to requests for support from professionals working with survivors.
Moderate Survivors’ Forum posts and manage signups; some weekend work may be required.
Monitor inboxes and provide ad-hoc advice and signposting.
Record case notes using Women’s Aid On Track (Oasis).
Collaborate with Research and Evaluation team on data and reporting trends.
