Based at Basildon Hospital, the role focuses on improving access standards, performance management, and service development, with strong analytical and communication requirements.

Band 7, with opportunities to influence planning, bed management and workforce planning within the division.

Qualifications

• Band 7 level role requiring strong analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently while supporting wider objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Unit Manager in operational delivery of General Surgery, Colorectal and Breast services.
• Oversee key access standards, cancer pathways, and 18-week RTT with PTL, data analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate rotas with medical staffing coordinators to ensure safe service delivery.
• Contribute to capacity planning, service development and financial monitoring.
