The Osteotec Spine Division is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Ideal locations include Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby.
Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.
Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager manages all aspects of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, planning sales activities, executing them, reviewing results, and adjusting plans accordingly.
The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers such as Spine Surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision-makers, and enhancing customer service. It also includes supporting the acquisition of new customers through technical expertise in the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, demonstrate, and sell a range of spine products to NHS and private hospitals.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs monthly and annually.
- Demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical settings.
- Conduct product trials and evaluations in clinical environments to drive sales.
- Provide excellent customer service to existing clients and during new customer acquisition activities.
- Develop and implement an effective sales business plan independently.
- Manage resources and materials, including consignment stock, in the sales area.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers, including surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital administration, to meet organizational goals while promoting the company's positive image.
- Organize and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff.
- Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales performance and market insights.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the territory.
- Ensure all business activities comply with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with other company functions to achieve sales objectives.
- Spend approximately 80% of your time in theatre environments.
- Perform other relevant duties as requested.
