Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) and support the development of their Same Day Emergency Care service. You will work within a dynamic team delivering safe, compassionate and inclusive care to patients attending SAU, with opportunities for clinical development and sign-off of competencies.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Degree/Diploma in Nursing/Health studies.
• Current NMC registration and ongoing professional development.
• Be able to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a busy SAU setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard nursing care to patients in the SAU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with Trust policies.
• Maintain patient records and communicate with the team and families.
