East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Waiting List Officer for Surgical Admissions in Stevenage. You will manage waiting lists, book patients into theatre sessions, and coordinate admissions and pre-operative assessments to support smooth elective care pathways.

Working within the Planned Care Division, you will collaborate with Consultants, Theatre Teams, and Service Managers to optimise theatre capacity and ensure accurate patient records across Trust systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage waiting lists and book patients into theatre sessions.
• Coordinate admissions and pre-operative assessments.
• Maintain patient information on Trust systems.
• Support RTT and cancer waiting time standards compliance.
• Provide cross-cover across multiple specialties and contribute to elective care delivery.
