University Hospitals Dorset invites applications for the Admin & Clerical role within Surgical Admissions Booking. The post supports elective admissions, ensures accurate data entry to waiting lists, and coordinates with theatre schedulers to meet national RTT targets.

You will interact with clinicians, GPs, and patients, deputise for team members as needed, and help maintain efficient admissions processes across our sites.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
• Friendly and professional communication with patients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Dealing promptly with incoming correspondence, calls and enquiries.
• Enter patient details on to the e-Camis waiting list within 2 working days of arrival.
• Work with Validation and Admissions Officer to ensure validated clock starts for TCI entries.
• Book patients according to clinical priority and RTT targets to meet deadlines.
• Ensure theatre lists are fully utilised and rebook cancelled operations within 28 days.
