Toppesfield is seeking an experienced Surfacing Contracts Manager to oversee multiple road surfacing projects. You will manage contracts from inception to completion, coordinate materials, labour, and plant, and ensure safety, budget, and quality targets are met.

Ideal candidates have a Construction Management Qualification, a valid CSCS card, and a proven track record in surfacing contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills are essential, with a focus on cost control

• The role requires experience in infrastructure/highways or contracting sectors.
• Construction Management Qualification is essential.
• CSCS card is required.
• Proven track record of managing surfacing/contracts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive Health & Safety promotion.
• Strong negotiation on prime contracts.
• Commercial awareness with cost control focus.

Responsabilités

• Manage asphalt surfacing contracts from inception to completion.
• Coordinate materials, labour and plant for each project.
• Plan works and manage production peaks and troughs.
• Maintain client relationships and contract governance.
• Monitor costs, budgets and financial targets.
• Ensure health and safety plans, risk assessments and compliance.
• Lead and develop site teams and conduct inspections.
