Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Assistant in the Harehills area of Leeds (LS9) to support a 17-year-old boy with global developmental delay and communication difficulties. The role offers flexible weekday evenings, with 6 hours per week during term time and 12 hours during school holidays.

The PA will help the young person access community activities, accompany him on outings, and support independence. A full UK driving license and access to a car are required as transport will be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of having worked with children and young people with SEN is preferable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and supporting autistic traits is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Social + Leisure activities support for the young person.
• Training on safeguarding and autism awareness is desirable.
• Transportation: driving the young person to activities with own car and full UK license.
