Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support a 13-year-old boy with Down syndrome and autism in Leeds. The role involves accompanying him to activities he enjoys—music, the park, cinema—and joining family outings with his three siblings.

Hours are 5 hours per week with flexible scheduling, in Leeds 17 and surrounding areas; DBS and references are arranged by the council. You will be warm, reliable, and child-focused, with good communication and the confidence to support a young

Qualifications

• Warm, reliable, and child-focused.
• Confident supporting a young person with learning disabilities.
• Good communication skills and a calm approach.
• Ability to work independently during outings.
• UK driving licence and car preferable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one paid for by the council.
