Job summary

Islamic Relief Worldwide seeks a Supporter Relations Assistant for Islamic Relief UK in Waterloo, London. You will be the first point of contact for supporters, handling enquiries across phone, email, post and digital channels with professionalism and empathy.

You will process donations, maintain accurate supporter records, support campaigns (Ramadan, Qurbani, emergency appeals), coordinate temporary staff, and help ensure GDPR-compliant data handling and a top-tier supporter experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, supporter care, administration, or data processing.
• Experience using databases and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong professional and empathetic communication.
• Excellent administrative and organisational abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for supporters across phone, email, post and digital channels.
• Process donations and maintain accurate supporter records.
• Manage enquiries and support day-to-day operations of the Supporter Relations Unit.
• Work with fundraising systems and ensure GDPR-compliant data handling.
• Coordinate temporary staff and volunteers during campaigns (Ramadan, Qurbani, emergencies).
• Assist with call centre activities and deliver an outstanding supporter experience.
