Job summary

Compassionate Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality assistance to clients, enhancing independence and daily living. You will support adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health needs, offering a calm, compassionate presence with a practical, person-centred approach.

Role includes 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm) on a rolling 4-on/4-off schedule with full-time hours. Driving licence and UK work eligibility are essential; training and progression

  • Assist with daily routines including mornings/evenings.

About the Support Worker Role

As a Support Worker at Compassionate Care Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing their independence and quality of life, making a meaningful difference in their daily experiences.

Our clients vary from adults with learning difficulties, autism, mental health and challenging behaviours. You will be offering a supportive ear, calm presence, whilst still bringing an element of fun into their daily activities and needs.

Days which will run a rolling rota of full time 4 days on and 4 days off
12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm.

The role will be extremely varied, here’s a few ideas of what you might get up to:

  • Assisting with daily routines, including mornings and evenings.
  • Providing personal care to those who require it.
  • Offering companionship and attending social activities such as museum trips, football matches, meals out and visits to the gym.
  • Preparing meals.
  • Assisting with medication.
  • Light cleaning and household duties.
  • Completing documentation, care notes, MAR charts as part of compliance and staff responsibility.

  • You will need to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, person-centred values, energy and commitment to providing an exceptional quality service
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car is essential
