Job summary
Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our supported living services across Cannock, Willenhall, and Stoke-on-Trent. You will drive high-quality, person-centred care, conduct regular quality visits, and report to Directors with updates and risk information.
The role requires NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to pursue) and knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and the Care Act.
Qualifications
- Must hold NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this)
- Experience as Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in domiciliary care or supported living
- Knowledge of CQC regulations, fundamental standards and inspection process
- Understanding safeguarding, the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and DoLS
- Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills, with confidence engaging commissioners and professionals
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to regular travel between services
- Willingness to register with the CQC as Registered Manager and undergo an enhanced DBScheck
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of all supported living services
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership to service teams, promoting high-quality, person-centred support
- Carry out scheduled quality visits to each service to assess care delivery, staff practice, client wellbeing and compliance
- Chair regular team meetings to maintain clear communication, consistency and team cohesion
- Provide Directors with regular service updates, performance reports and risk information
