Job summary

Trust Housing Association is seeking a Supported Housing Worker in Clydebank, offering 16.75 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota. The role is part-time and permanent, with a competitive hourly rate of £14.04. Training, PVG check and professional membership are included.

You will support tenants to maintain independence, assist with meals, and help in dining areas. Prior health and social care qualifications and experience with vulnerable groups are preferred.

Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Worker to join our team at Ramillies Court, Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive rate of £14.04 per hour.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as a Supported Housing Worker we will offer you:

• 16.75 hours (average per week) worked over a mixture of shifts 2 days per week, on a 4-week rolling rota, including working alternate weekends (example shifts):
  • Week 1: Thurs and Friday (8.5-hour shifts)
  • Week 2: Tuesday and Wednesday (9-hour shifts)
  • Week 3: Saturday (12-hour shift)
  • Week 4: Monday (8-hour shift) and Sunday (12-hour shift).
• Competitive hourly rate of £14.04 per hour

What we're looking for in our Support Workers:

You’ll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room; there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. It'll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you bring to this important role.

Support Worker Skills and Experience:

Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
