Permanent contract | £27,711 to £32,654 per annum (Scale F/G) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich
The Social Care Community Engagement Team is at the forefront of implementing "Living Well," Norfolk's approach to delivering a new model of social care. This method focuses on strengthening our front door and encouraging social care professionals to have meaningful conversations with individuals to create better outcomes. It promotes connecting with local networks and community support, moving away from process-driven 'hand-offs'.
You will need excellent communication, record-keeping, and keyboard skills, along with experience working with individuals who require care and support. A commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to manage a high turnover of work efficiently are essential. You should also be committed to multidisciplinary working and familiar with the department’s eligibility criteria. Regular supervision, peer support, and training will be provided to support your development.

We are seeking to appoint either a Supported Assistant Practitioner (Scale F) or an experienced Assistant Practitioner (Scale G). Supported Assistant Practitioners will participate in a 9-month development programme, with potential progression to an Assistant Practitioner role upon successful completion. Details on terms and conditions are available.
