Agincare is looking for Support Workers to join our caring team. You will support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs, helping with daily living tasks, meals, budgeting, and personal care.
You will communicate effectively, promote independence and engage people in community activities. We are a family-run provider with 1986 origins and over 4,500 colleagues, offering career progression, funded training, and a pension.
You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs. Supporting - Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting. Communicating - effectively communicate using people's chosen methods Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches Recording - keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management You're a family run business that's been caring and supporting people since 1986.
