Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Support Worker to join Holkham House in Redhill. You will provide care and support to adults with a learning disability, helping them along their recovery pathway and promoting independence.

This permanent, full-time role is 35 hours per week, with shifts between 7 am and 10 pm and weekends on a rota basis. A female-only requirement is specified to support female residents, within a dedicated on-site team.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult care, preferably with learning disabilities.
• Compassionate, resilient and vigilant mindset.
• Willing to work shifts including early mornings and weekends.
• DBS check is required.

What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to adult people with a Learning Disability , using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you've made someone's life better.

This is a permanent full - time position, 35 hours a week contract, working on shifts between the hours of 7 am and 10pm, including weekends on a rota basis. This vacancy require female support worker to apply to support the female residents in the most efficient manner., provides a specialist residential service for men and women with a range of learning disabilities, including autism and sensory and communication impairments. The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of Support Workers, led by an experienced Registered Manager. Holkham is situated in Surrey and provides ten en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, a dining room and a large garden. There is an excellent range of community facilities and amenities close by including YMCA, Redhill Town Centre & shops, The Light Cinema as well as two train stations within walking distance. Redhill has direct train access to London and Brighton and the M25 and M23 motorways are 3 miles away.
