Job summary

Dimensions (UK) Ltd. is seeking caring and proactive Support Workers to join our team in Droitwich (WR9).

You will support six adults aged 19-31 with Profound or Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and complex health needs, in a home with separate self-contained apartments and shared spaces. The role involves assisting with personal care, medication, mobility, meals, and communication, within a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential.
• Full training will be provided, including specialist health, communication and medication training.
• Driving licence is not essential, but opportunities to develop confidence driving larger mobility vehicles in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care.
• Use hoists and specialist equipment.
• Support wheelchair users.
• Meal preparation.
• Support eating and drinking, including PEG feeding.
• Administering medication.
• Support people with epilepsy and Buccal medication procedures.
• Support communication, including Makaton and other methods.
• Work with Speech and Language Therapy guidance.
• Help people do the things that matter to them.

Job description

We're looking for caring, proactive and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in Droitwich (WR9), supporting six adults aged 19-31 with Profound or Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and complex health needs. The people we support each have their own self-contained apartment within a shared support setting. While everyone has their own routines, interests and goals, there is a strong sense of community and teamwork throughout the home. Support is provided on both a 1:1 basis and through shared support, depending on individual needs. The people you support enjoy:
