Job summary

Dimensions in Trowbridge is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help four adults aged 30s–50s with PMLD, epilepsy, and complex health needs. The role involves 1:1 and 2:1 support, personal care, mobility assistance, and promoting health, wellbeing and independence.

You will work as part of a team, follow care plans, and engage in activities such as hydrotherapy, music, day trips and hobbies. Full training is provided, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting adults with PMLD and complex health needs is beneficial.
  • Ability to provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to individuals.
  • Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS and training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to individuals with PMLD and complex health needs.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs.
  • Administer medication and PEG feeding as required.
  • Prepare meals and support participation in activities they enjoy.
  • Collaborate with families and colleagues to ensure consistent care.

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Pay: £13.45 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift

Driver Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (Auto-Friendly)

About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Trowbridge (BA14), supporting four adults aged 30s–50s with Profound or Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), epilepsy and complex health needs.

You’ll provide 1:1 and 2:1 support, helping people enjoy active, engaging and meaningful lives while supporting their health, wellbeing and independence.

The people we support enjoy:

Support includes:

  • Supporting people with their personal care

  • Supporting people to take part in the things they enjoy

Full training will be provided for all specialist health and support needs.

Family involvement is important, and you'll work closely with relatives and colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality support.

Shifts:
  • 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • 4:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Long day + sleep-in: 9:00am – 9:00am (following day)
  • Sleep-ins: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
