We are recruiting Support Workers to join our service in Coventry, supporting adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism, and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication via verbal, written and electronic routes.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable with a positive, patient attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day management of a team of staff working within the service.
• Take responsibility for the care provided to tenants/residents whilst on duty.
• Communicate effectively to cascade information to the team and engage members with plans and objectives.
• Be part of the senior team on-call rota.
• Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, and senior staff.
• Deliver caring, patient, respectful support while empowering independence.

Job description

You will:

• Provide day to day management of a team of staff working within the service.


• Take responsibility for the care provided to tenants/residents whilst on duty.


• Communicate effectively via verbal, written and electronic routes and maintain robust processes to ensure the cascade of information to the team and the engagement of team members with plans and objectives.


• Be part of the senior team on-call rota.


• Be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary care team and senior professional and managerial staff.
  We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable., Experience in a care setting preffered
