Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Christchurch to assist three gentlemen aged 54-93. You will help maintain independence, support activities, transport and wellbeing as part of a small staff team.

You’ll work 41 hours per week with varied shifts, receive DBS/PVG verification paid by us, and benefit from progression opportunities, pension and generous annual leave. No car driver required if based in one location.

Qualifications

• Must have UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to lone work and travel as needed.
• DBS/PVG verification provided during employment.

Role Overview

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

• Support three gentlemen aged 54-93 years old.
• Maintain independence alongside the staff team.
• Assist with activities, transport and all areas of support from first aid training to positive support.
• Enjoy MENCAP visits, daily tea and scenic walks with the support recipients.

Working Hours and Shift Patterns

• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 41 hours/week
• Shift details: 10-22 sleep in with a follow on of 07:00-10:30, 10:30-18:00, 10:30-17:00, 10:00-21:00, 08:30-18:00
• Shift types: two day shifts (10am-6pm or 10am-9pm) and one sleeping shift (10am-10pm-7am-10:15am)
• There are 2-3 staff per day and lone working is involved.
• Driving license: UK manual driving licence is required.
