Job summary

The National Autistic Society in Swansea is seeking a caring Support Worker to join our Longford Court service for weekend duties.

You will follow individual support plans, assist with daily living tasks, and help residents participate in activities. A positive attitude and respect for autistic people are essential; experience is helpful but not required.

About the Service

Longford Court includes four residential homes, Ty Coed, Ty Mawr, Ty Mynydd, and Ty Canol, and one bungalow, Ty Coed Bungalow. Pale Road and Old Road are specialist services that provides 24-hour residential support for four autistic adults with moderate to complex behavioural needs.

About the Role

We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)

What We’re Looking For

This advert is for a part-time position at 26 Hours per week. This is for weekend shifts only.

Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year)ispreferred
