Real Life Options is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Inverurie Day Centre to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs live more independent lives. You will assist with daily activities, support skill-building and enable community inclusion.

The role offers 30 hours across 4 days per week, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. Full training is provided, PVG membership is required, and benefits include pension, health plan, and staff recognition.

• PVG membership (Adult) required before starting.

About the Role

In our Inverurie Day Centre, Support Workers help individuals with a wide range of needs to lead enriched an Our service is open to the whole community so you will be dealing with members of the public, families of supported individuals and professionals so good communication skills are essential. d independent lives. Who We Support

The people we support in Inverurie have varied support needs.

Some individuals may display challenging behaviour, including verbal or physical incidents and self-injurious behaviour.

Experience in this area, particularly with de-escalation techniques and Positive Behaviour Support Plans, is highly desirable.

Full training is provided.

Shifts and Flexibility

The Day Centre operates Monday through Friday, between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm.

The applicant will normally be expected to work 4 days out of 5.

Relief cover may be required on short notice, so we are looking for individuals who are flexible with working hours.
