Job summary

Priory Adult Care is seeking a Support Worker waking nights to join the team at The Old Rectory Brede. This 36-hour contract involves 3 nights per week with alternate weekends, shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, and a pay of £13.45 per hour.

The home offers a relaxed, homely environment with 12 bedrooms in the main house and a connected cottage, focused on compassionate, person-centred care. Ideally, you have experience in a similar role or possess the right values and empathy to support residents.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Support Worker waking nights to join our team.

This is a36-hour contract, working 3 nights per week, alternate weekends included

Shift times are 7pm - 7am

£13.45 per hour

The Old rectory Brede is a large detached, communal house has lots of space and offers a relaxed, homely environment.

There are 12 bedrooms in the main house, which are split across three floors, with three on the ground floor. There are six communal bathrooms for residents to use. In addition to the main building, there is also a separate cottage with three bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you'll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
