Job summary

Community Integrated Care is hiring a Support Worker for a permanent night shift from 10pm to 8am. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns to live as independently as possible in their own flats.

No driving required and you will work with one amazing team on a single location, with guaranteed shifts and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience using Makaton for communication is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and support adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health concerns.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns to live their daily lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with them.

This is a waking night role from 10pm to 8am

What You Will Be Doing

We support people to live their lives as independently as possible in their own flats. We are looking for people who are interested in trying new things and supporting people to achieve their own personal goals. Some of the individuals we support are non-verbal and use Makaton to communicate so previous experience of this would be great.
