Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking dedicated support workers for two part-time night shifts per week in Newbury. The role involves promoting independence for adults with learning disabilities, staying in the home during nights (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), and providing responsive support while remaining flexible for weekends.

Full training is provided, with NVQ Level 2 opportunities. Applicants must be able to attend daytime meetings and training.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required (paid for by us).

Who will I support?

We currently have 2 part time positions working 2 nights per week in one of our supported living locations supporting adults with learning disabilities.

You will be working in their home, so it’s important you can connect, whether its because they like to stay up late and watch a film, listen to Music with a hot chocolate, or enjoy a relaxing bath before going to bed. Or they may be early risers and want your support to get up and ready for the day ahead, and so your role will be to provide responsive support during the night and early morning as required.

Our nights run from 10.00pm - 6.00am You will need to be able to work flexibly, including some weekends.

You will need to be able to attend training and meetings during the day as required.
