Job summary

Dimensions is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker in Bridgend to ensure safe, calm nights for those we support. You’ll work 8pm–8:30am, 37.5 hours per week, with duties that include keeping safe checks, a tidy hygienic environment, and accurate record-keeping to guide care plans.

You’ll deliver personal care with dignity and compassion, creating a reassuring atmosphere at night while collaborating with the team to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

About the role

Every night,you’llhelp create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support.
Your role will include:

• Carrying out regular “keeping safe checks” to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe.
• Recording important information using our easy-to-use IT systems – from support plans to health and safety logs – so we can provide the best care possible.
• Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night.
• Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.
• Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.

Shift: 8pm- 8.30am
