Job summary

Plus Services is seeking a caring and capable Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities and autism live fulfilling lives in the community. You will spend considerable time one-to-one with service users, supporting their independence and social activities, including outings and skills development.

The role requires weekend shifts and flexibility for sleep-ins and bank holidays. Plus Services offers extensive training and development opportunities and a pension/benefits package.

Qualifications

• Able to work weekends, sleep-ins, waking nights and bank holidays.
• Be physically fit to assist service users who may be physically dependent.
• Support people with learning disabilities who express themselves in different ways.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to learn new skills and become independent.
• Take service users out into the community to expand horizons and experiences.
