Job summary

BEST LIVES LIMITED is seeking a caring Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs live life on their own terms. You will provide practical support, assist with daily living tasks and encourage participation in activities.

Join a welcoming team, receive full training, and work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. The role focuses on independence, dignity, and inclusion, with safeguarding at the core of everyday practice.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a caring, compassionate and reliable individual with good communication and teamwork skills.
• The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins where required.
• A positive, patient and person-centred approach is essential. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support in line with individual support plans
• Promote independence, dignity and respect at all times
• Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
• Assist individuals to access the community and social activities
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
