Job summary

The Housing Network (THN) is opening a brand-new support service in Coventry, and we are seeking an experienced Support Worker to help vulnerable individuals and families. You will join a mission-driven team and play a key role in shaping the service from the ground up.

In this role you will deliver strength-based, trauma-informed support, run 1:1 sessions, manage a caseload, assist with tenancy docs and signposting, and uphold safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting highly vulnerable people.
• Experience with families facing homelessness and complex needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and client welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based, trauma-informed support and create outcome-focused plans.
• Deliver 1:1 support sessions and signposting to independence.
• Manage a caseload to ensure appropriate engagement.
• Assist residents with tenancy documentation and benefits awareness.
• Maintain safeguarding awareness for residents and staff.
