Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Support Worker for Bilberry Lodge in Lancashire. You will work twilight shifts (13:00–01:30), full-time 37.5 hours per week, including weekends, supporting women with complex mental health needs in a specialist residential setting.

The role requires experience in the mental health sector and excellent communication skills. An Enhanced DBS check is required, and the employer is Disability Confident compliant to support applications from all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with the people we support, ensuring two-way communication.
• Support with rehabilitation programmes and daily living activities.
• Establish methods of communication to reduce barriers for residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care when needed.
• Report issues to the clinical team promptly and accurately.
• Record work activities clearly and promptly.
