Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care across various settings within the social care sector. You will assist service users with personal care, support independence, and contribute to a compassionate team.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay (£12.85–£18.40 per hour), and industry-leading training including NVQ Levels 2 and 3. DBS check upon joining and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

  • 6 months care experience in a social care setting.
  • Must be over 18 and have right to work in the UK.
  • Flexible availability with ability to travel between care settings.
  • Good standard of English and effective communication.
  • Clear enhanced DBS (applied for on registration).

Responsibilities

  • Assist service users with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Support safe lifting and moving of individuals.
  • Administer medications as directed.
  • Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
  • Provide companionship and follow care plans to maintain independence.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Support Worker may include assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication, meal preparation, and providing general companionship. You'll work closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity, providing the physical and emotional support that they might need to achieve their goals.

What We're Looking For
  • You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
