Mencap is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Letchworth. You’ll help people with learning disabilities with everyday activities, provide emotional encouragement, and offer companionship within a 24-hour care framework.
Rotas are planned weeks in advance to support your personal life. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) values empathy, clear communication, and a person-centred approach.
Mencap is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Letchworth.
As a Support Worker, you’ll have the chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You’ll work with a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique strengths, personalities, and support needs.
From supporting with everyday activities to offering emotional encouragement and companionship, your role will be varied, rewarding, and truly meaningful.
Our services provide 24-hour care, and rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, giving you the flexibility to plan your personal and social life.
