Job summary

Havencare in Plymouth is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist people with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and other support needs in their homes and the local community.

Role includes helping with day-to-day living, some personal care, and participation in social activities. Shifts may include weekends; a full UK driving license and vehicle access are preferred. DBS check, references, and right-to-work in the UK are required.

  • Experience in care or support roles is preferred
  • Commitment to safeguarding and quality in support work

About the Role:
Your role would involve supporting people with all aspects of day-to-day living, some aspects of personal care, in their homes and out in the community. The people you would support have a range of interests which includegoing tocinema, disco, picnic in the park, trampolining.They also enjoy walking into town for a coffee, shopping and exploring different places by bus or train. If you share these interests, then this could be a great opportunity for you to work in an environment that combines your shared interests with your career.

About the usual working pattern:

To be discussed at interview. Shift patterns will include weekend working on a rotational basis.
