CareTech is recruiting Support Workers for days and nights to join our Roborough service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours per week on a rota basis, with a pay rate of £13.03 per hour. We value person-centred care, teamwork and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caring environment is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our residents.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Confidence to work alone and also be part of our wider service team.
• Passionate about making a difference to our resident's lives.
• Good written skills.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs at Roborough House.
• Work day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team, and promote independence.

About the Service - Roborough House provides expert care and treatment for adults with complex support needs, resulting from mental health disorders, dementias, strokes and progressive neurological conditions and associated comorbidities such as epilepsy, dysphagia, diabetes and behaviours that may challenge a mainstream nursing home.
