Job summary

The You Trust is recruiting a Support Worker for our Learning Disabilities Service in Petersfield. You will provide daily assistance with tasks, help clients gain independence, and support them to access the community and manage daily living activities.

This permanent, part-time role involves 27 hours per week plus sleep-in shifts. You will need to be flexible and compassionate, with a UK driving licence or access to your own car and a right to work in the UK. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience supporting people with a range of needs including personal care, money management, community access and chores.
• Hold a UK manual driving licence or be willing to use your own car.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to do sleep-in shifts.

Support Worker

Location: Petersfield

Salary:£17,880.75 plus £506.25 MRA (£26,490pa plus £750 MRA FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (Typical hours are 27 hours per week plus sleep in shifts)

Essential Criteria:

The successful applicant will need to have:

• Proof of right to work in the UK. Please be advised we do NOT offer sponsorship.

• Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

• Experience of supporting people with a variety of needs including personal care, money management, accessing the community and household chores

The Role

We're recruiting for Support Workers to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Petersfield. This is a great opportunity to support clients with learning disabilities manage different parts of their lives in a Supported Living setting. You'll be supporting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and accessing into the community. Clients will also need support with personal care, including toileting.
