Job summary

Home Care Direct is seeking Compassionate personal assistants to support a client in Suffolk. You will help with personal care, medication, daily routines and bladder care, while promoting independence and community involvement.

The role includes flexible shifts, some sleep-ins, and training. You will work as part of a small PA team with family involvement, in a supportive, person-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK; Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
• Experience with learning disabilities/autism.
• Willing to undertake training for catheter support and bladder care.
• Calm and reassuring, good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Support the client to maintain independence and dignity at home and in the community.
• Provide personal care, medication and daily routines.
• Assist with bladder care and self-catheterisation per the care plan.
• Support with community activities, meals and train travel.
• Follow the client's detailed care plan with full training provided.
