Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service in Worsley is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to support an older lady at home with daily living tasks, ensuring comfort, safety and independence.

The role covers morning and evening personal care, meal preparation, medication support and helping with stairs and night routines in a private home.

You will work part-time, fostering a safe, respectful environment and building a trusting relationship with the client and her family.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient Personal Assistant required.
• Experience in providing morning and evening personal care and medication support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Morning personal care, including showering in her wet room.
• Help her to get dressed and safely come downstairs using her stairlift.
• Preparing breakfast.
• Supporting with medication.
• Providing support with a late lunch/evening meal.
• Evening personal care and showering as required.
• Helping her get upstairs using the stairlift.
• Supporting her to change into nightwear and get ready for bed.
• Ensuring the home is left safe and secure for the night.
