Job summary

Pertemps Tm is seeking a Support Worker for a role in Penryn, Cornwall. The position is 37 hours per week on a rolling rota, paying £15.34 per hour. This is a 12-week temporary contract with the potential to become permanent.

You will provide person-centred support to adults with complex needs in a supported housing service, develop and maintain support plans, complete risk assessments, encourage independence, and work with colleagues and external agencies while following safeguarding procedures.

Location: Penryn, Cornwall

Shifts: 5 days per week on a rolling rota, Monday-Sunday between 8am-9pm

About You

• Has experience within support work, supported housing, homelessness or complex needs
• Understands support planning and risk management
• Can build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries
• Is confident working independently
• Is resilient, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure
• Has good IT and record-keeping skills
• Can work flexibly across the rota, including weekends and bank holidays
