Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Penryn, Cornwall, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with complex needs in a supported housing setting. You'll deliver person-centred support, help build confidence, promote independence and encourage engagement with community activities.

The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, paid £15.34 per hour, on a 12-week contract with the possibility of permanency, starting 26 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work, supported housing, homelessness or complex needs.
• Understands support planning and risk management.
• Able to build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Capable of working independently and flexibly across a rolling rota.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to adults with complex needs.
• Develop and maintain support plans.
• Complete risk assessments and risk management.
• Encourage independence and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and case notes.
• Work closely with colleagues and external agencies.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
• Undertake lone working as required.
