Mirus in Maesteg (Bridgend) is recruiting a male PBS & Autism Support Worker to join our dedicated team. You will support people to build relationships, try new things, and live good lives, with a focus on enabling independence and community participation.

Role requires full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK. We offer paid travel miles, enhanced sleep-in rates, a comprehensive training programme, 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and wellbeing and DBS support.

Support Worker - PBS & Autism Support (3615)

Support Worker - PBS & Autism Support- only Male

We have an exciting opportunity for a Male PBS & Autism Support worker to join our dedicated team in Maesteg, Bridgend. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live good lives.

You will need to hold a full UK driving license for this role.

Due to the requirements of the support provided at this service, we are looking for Male Support Workers only.

The Home situated in Maesteg, the home is 3 stories and has a flat based approach. This means each of the 4 people supported that live here have their own flats inside the home. The 4 people supported have autism, learning disabilities, diabetes, communication needs and some (not all) can display behaviours that challenge. The staff team is very experienced, knowledgeable about the people supported and supportive to new staff. The staff support the people supported to live their lives as they wish, promoting them to gain new skills and experience new activities.
