Mirus Wales is recruiting a Part Time Support Worker in Swansea on a 16-hour contract. You will help people build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community so they can live good lives.

Role includes domestic tasks, medication administration, personal care, and supporting individuals in home and community settings. Full UK driving license is essential and DBS checks are provided in due course.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license is required.
  • Experience or willingness to work with adults in a supported living setting.
  • Relevant health and social care qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support people to do activities they enjoy and build relationships.
  • Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal prep, personal care, and routines.
  • Encourage people to strengthen relationships with family and community.
  • Work with social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide the best support.
  • Listen to individuals and help them make choices about their lives.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
  • Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
  • Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
  • Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
  • Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
